Biography

Originally from Baton Rouge, La.  At an early age through to college, Ashleigh had an eye for detail by creating sketches. Ashleigh was told that she wouldn't make money as an artist and so eventually, became attracted to the performing arts. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a BA in Theater. 

Ashleigh later went on to having a strong tenure of just over a decade working for a data management marketing company based out of Conway, AR called Acxiom. Ashleigh felt the twinge of excitement when she was given the opportunity to perform front end website test projects and work with developers for a large client. 

Later, Ashleigh moved with her husband to the Dallas, TX metro area. There she went onto working for a property management software company where she got to be on the forefront of implementing a new product for clients, but Ashleigh wanted to do more than just implement so after a year and half she moved to the product side where she got to use her critical thinking mindset to resolve problems but also perform business analysis while working with other developers and product managers. 

Having worked in corporations, Ashleigh is not adverse to change. She knew from working on websites that something needed to change with her career trajectory. So in 2022, she decided to become a user centered product designer. In her past roles, Ashleigh has always enjoyed trouble-shooting and now she looks forward to solving those problems through using her creative talent to design solutions.
